Sanyo HPS-SG3 Electric Indoor Barbecue Grill

Let’s start things off with the first electric barbecue that I fell in love with. If for whatever reason you’re not sure about trying an electric barbecue grill, the Sanyo HPS-SG3 will make you a believer without putting a huge dent in your wallet. One of the most popular electric barbecue grills around, this Sanyo model is an incredible bang for your buck. At around $50, it’s pretty unbelievable what you get.

The HPS-SG3’s cooking surface is quite generous at 200-square inches, which is more than enough for a family of four. And with its adjustable temperature control, you can crank this thing up and get a great sear! The build quality is solid, consisting of three main components: the metal nonstick grill, a metal oil drip pan that you fill with water, and the cool-touch plastic base. Since the oil drip pan is dishwasher-safe, cleanup is a snap. It’s all very simple yet very effective. At under 8.5 lbs., it has enough heft to stay put while in use, but it’s light enough to transport with ease. As for smoke, this unit has been tested as one of the units to produce the least amount of smoke.

Most important of all, the HPS-SG3 will give you absolutely fantastic meals. I’ve grilled kabobs, burgers, sausages, chicken wings, steaks, short ribs, vegetables, and fish, and they all came out absolutely delicious! Forget going out to expensive restaurants when you can make better tasting food at home! Not to mention that it’s cheaper and you can make healthier choices (I think I might have to share a fantastic turkey burger recipe I tried a while ago).

With the Sanyo HPS-SG3, there’s really no excuse to not have a grill. This is perfect for you apartment and condo dwellers. An absolute perform that will deliver results at an exceptional bargain.

Welcome to the Electric Barbecue Blog!

Welcome to my blog! I absolutely love to barbecue and grill. Now, I recently moved into a house with a backyard, but it wasn’t too long ago that I lived in a condo. As you may already know, most cities have bylaws that prohibit the use of barbecues and grills on balconies. Bummer. The bylaw usually stems from the combustion of the fuel and the fire hazard it creates (or so I’m told). But I needed my fix. After a bit of prodding, I learned that an electrical barbecue grill was acceptable. Score! During my search for an electric barbecue grill, I soon realized that they weren’t just great for condo and apartment balconies. They were perfect for boating, camping, RVing, tailgating, and even indoor cooking! Now, I’m the kind of guy that will still barbecue and grill outside during the winter, but staying toasty inside while making delicious short ribs is fine by me! So no, I don’t live in a condo anymore and I’m free to use charcoal, propane, and natural gas, but I still love electric barbecue grills!

(not mine, but I wish it was right now)
